Admin approval required when logging in

Robin makes logging in easy with Single Sign-On (SSO) via Google or Microsoft accounts. However, sometimes your organisation's IT settings might block this, asking for admin approval before you can continue.

How to fix it

The quickest way to resolve this is to check in with your IT team. Let them know you need access to Robin, and they can approve the SSO login by adjusting their settings.

For Microsoft (Azure / Entra):

  • The admin will see a request for “Robin Education” in the Enterprise Applications section.

  • They can click Grant admin consent or approve the request through the Admin consent workflow.

For Google Workspace:

  • The admin can go to Security → API controls → App access control.

  • They’ll find “Robin Education” listed under Apps pending review.

  • Approving it allows users to log in via Google.

A quick workaround

While your IT team sorts this out, you can still log in using a personal Google (Gmail) or Microsoft account. This will allow you to log in to Robin while your IT team works on resolving the issue.
