Robin's Policy Audit finds and displays the information you care about regarding policies on your website(s). It stops you having to trawl through your website/DfE guidance, leaving you with the headspace to focus on what's important.
The Policy Audit does three things for you:-
Finds and lists all the policies you have on your website(s) - helping you keep on top of what you are telling your community about how you run your school(s)
exposing duplicates and outdated policies
highlighting policies that might be hard to find
Categorises the policies and exposes their review dates - making sure you are aware of any that are overdue
Highlights the policies you have a statutory obligation to publish - helping you rectify gaps/ensure they can be found easily
keeping you up to date with the latest requirements
giving you the tools to ensure you are Ofsted ready when it counts

Why are some required documents not included?
The Policy Audit focuses on downloadable policy documents that are most often found on the Policies pages of school websites.
Schools are also required to publish a range of other documents, reports and information, such as the SEND information report and pupil premium strategy statement.
If these are found by Robin, they will be categorised and included in your report, but they are not tracked as required policies.
Policies that YOU require on your websites
Robin also lets your admins define which additional policies are required to appear on your websites (beyond the standard statutory set). This ensures that your policy audit reflects your school(s) specific needs.
Can Robin get it wrong?
In order to perform the policy audit, Robin needs to use human-like judgement. The important thing to know is that, like people, sometimes Robin will get things wrong. We aim to minimise the effect of this, but we can't completely eradicate it. If you feel that something is wrong please let us know so that we can work on teaching Robin to learn from its mistakes.
Do also note that sometimes, when Robin can't find something, or finds the wrong information, this can highlight steps you could take to make the information easier to find. After all, if Robin can't find it, its likely your parents and community members won't either.
